Jake was brilliant giving Freddie a ‘new style’ haircut to show his girlfriends at school 🤣. Jake showed Freddie the haircuts he could chose on his phone, and recommended which on me would suit him best. Overall results were 5 ⭐️. So impressed Daddy is going to book in with Jake right after Freddie’s next haircut with him.

I have been in the mens hairdressing industry for 23 years. 19 of those years have been here at Dapranos! My favourite area is working with short to medium lengh hair. Although I'm very experienced in my industry, i still like to push myself by learning new skills and I like to keep myself up to date on all the latest trends. I'm big on attention to detail and i consider myself a perfectionist. My clients keep coming back time after time because I'm consistent and I'm always looking to extract the maximum potential out of every clients hair.

I have been in the Men's hairdressing industry for 8 years. I have made big strides in my career over the last few years by working alongside some of the very best barbers in the bay. My barbering philosophy is to be attentive and apply all the finer details to each and every client. I especially like to push the boundaries when it comes to fading and sharp cutthroat bladed outlines.

I have been in the hairdressing industry for over 40 years. I trained as a hairdresser back in Torquay in 1983. A few years later I moved to London where I had a very successful salon for many years. 12 years ago I decided to move back to Torquay and specialise in barbering. I excel in all aspects of barbering but I feel that with my vast experience in hairdressing, it gives me an extra edge when it comes to working with longer hair and my scissor work in general.

I pride myself on always having worked in the very best hairdressers and barbershops throughout Torquay. I enjoy working to the highest standards which helps to keep me pushing my skills to the limit. I like to think that my work is very precise and I love to add all the finer details to make sure all of my clients have a cut that really stands out from the crowd.

I have been in the men's hairdressing industry for 3 years now. My favourite aspects of barbering are fading and modern haircuts but I feel comfortable in all aspects of cutting.

Over these last few years i have completed my NVQ level 2 and advanced barbering NVQ level 3 at South Devon College. Over the past 2 years I have also been serving an apprenticeship at Dapranos. I have just completed my first full year cutting, where i have gained many clients and i am now a full time member of the team.

Working alongside the team has brought me a wealth of experience and I feel i am now ready to take my career to the next step!

I am born in Torquay and I was trained in Torquay over 20 years ago by the same teachers as Giovanni.  I met Giovanni all those years ago studying barbering together.


Later, I moved to London to study art at university to gain experience of life outside of Torquay. 
After 2 weeks at university I started working every Saturday and Sunday for Jack’s of London in Wimbledon.  Also working in other Jacks of London branches including Kingston’s upon Thames and Guildford doing holiday cover.  I also worked in a number of exclusive barber shops through a barber agency such as Gencos in Richmond and Chiswick,  and barbers in Putney, Surbiton and Esher.
Meeting a lot of different gentlemen in the process from cutting famous footballers  and rugby players, TV presenters to CEOs, doctors, pilots to the average Joe. Due to client confidentiality I can not give out their names in writing. 

I am good with toddlers all the way up to OAPs always aiming to give customers the best finish. Following latest fashions and styles.  I'm confident in all different hair types, European, Asian and Afro hair. 

I have only just moved back to Torquay at the start of 2023, as I was missing my life by the sea, after being in London for 14 years.

I'm excited to demonstrate my skills and make a positive contribution to this already outstanding team. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi I'm Jordan, I'm the youngest and newest member of the team. I have been barbering for over 3 years and I have recently qualified. Don't let my age fool you though! I can match the established barbers i work with for quality and I am renowned for giving my clients a first class experience. I'm hungry and passionate about mens hairdressing and I'm keen to build on my already fast growing client base. I cover all aspects of barbering, however I really enjoy doing modern work including fades, Burst fades and tapers etc. I look forward to seeing you in the chair ✂️
